Join the national NHS Big Tea party and raise money for your Bristol NHS charity

Bristol NHS charity Above & Beyond is inviting you to join a national outpouring of love and support for staff at our hospitals by hosting an NHS Big Tea party.

The national initiative from NHS Charites Together aims to thank NHS staff for all their hard work during the pandemic.

Above & Beyond is urging the people of Bristol and beyond to come together in support of the event to show their gratitude.

Katie Walker, director of fundraising and marketing at Above & Beyond, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to say thank you to our NHS staff following the most difficult year in NHS history.

“All the money you raise here in Bristol, will stay in Bristol and make a real difference to staff and patients at our hospitals.

“As restrictions continue to lift, you can get together with your friends, family or colleagues and join this national outpouring of love and support for our NHS.”

Above & Beyond is the official charity for University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). The charity raise money for projects over and above what the NHS can provide, including the most up-to-date equipment, more comfortable surroundings and innovative research.

Recent projects have included a three-year wellbeing programme for NHS staff and emergency support for staff at the height of the pandemic.
