Community Trust donate P.E. Kit to ‘Key Worker’ pupils

Bristol Rovers Community Trust have been back out into the Community to donate and deliver brand-new P.E. equipment to our partner schools who continue to provide for ‘Key Worker’ children.

The kit supplied by the PFA and Sports Direct, at value of £700 each, has a wide range of equipment to help teachers and pupils to provide more diverse and engaging P.E. lessons for their pupils. As Lockdown continues to grip the nation, staying active is key to maintaining positive physical and mental health. By providing these packs, we hope that it will encourage pupils to be keep active and engaged.

Premier League Primary Stars Lead, Abbie Jones, said: “We’re delighted to be delivering these packs to some of our partner schools over the last couple of weeks. Key workers kids are still attending school throughout our community and we hope that the new equipment will encourage these pupils to remain active during these difficult times. Each School is committed to providing a good P.E. provision and I know that these kits will be fully utilised.”

Chris Bank from Westbuty-OnTrym, said: “The kit is absolutely fantastic and we can’t thank Bristol Rovers enough for all of their help. We continue to work closely together to make sure that we’re able to provide the very best physical education for our pupils and the new kit will help us to try new, fun and exciting games to keep them engaged.”

Bristol Rovers Community Trust Ambassador, Mark Little sent a message to the pupils at each school, saying “We’re gutted that we can’t be there in person to deliver this kit in person. It’s great to see everyone staying active and as a thank you to all of the ‘Key Worker’ children, it’s great for us to donate this brand-new kit”

The Community Trust will continue to deliver P.E. sessions to our partner schools through the term and lockdown.
